  4. Select the investment you would like to view. If your investment is still processing it will show under "Open Transactions." If your investment is fully invested, you will be able to see it under "Investments" "Positions" or "History."
  5. Once you select the investment, you will see the status under "Steps to Invest" on the right-hand side.

To view your investment status using the StartEngine App, please follow these steps:

  1. Login to your StartEngine account
  2. Select the "Pie Chart" diagram on the utility bar at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select your desired investment.

Are you confused about the status? Here's what each status means:

  1. Order Submitted (Pending Funds Arrival): The investment was submitted and we are waiting for the funds to arrive in escrow.
  2. Payment Processing: The Funds have been received and our banking partner is working to verify your information.
  3. Funds in Escrow: Your funds have been received and the information was verified. Your funds will remain in a secure escrow account until the company issues its next batch of shares. The next time the company disburses on funds, you will receive your ownership documents. (Held up to three months)
  4. Investment Complete: The company has taken your funds from escrow and you are now officially invested! You can now view your ownership documents on your dashboard.

Please note, that the time your funds spend in each stage may differ depending on the campaign. Funds may remain in the “Funds in Escrow” stage for an extended period of time because once funds are cleared, they are not fully invested until the company closes on the funds.

Some companies choose to close on funds during the weeks following the close of their campaign, whereas others may close on funds at regular intervals during their campaign. As a result, the timeline can vary and take anywhere from several weeks to months.

Below are some other statuses you might see depending on the investment:

Waitlisted (Offering Oversubscribed): You submitted a reservation of interest in a campaign that has already met their maximum funding goal, so your investment is being held on the waitlist. You have not been charged yet.

Submitted (Minimum Not Met): The investment was successfully submitted, but the offering minimum has not been met or escrow has not opened (typically 3 weeks after the campaign launches).

Action Required: This means that either our banking partner could not verify all of the information provided and further documents are required to approve the investment or the payment failed and you will need to resubmit the payment information via your dashboard.
